Training in Rwanda

Last year around this time, I sent a notice suggesting that we raise some money for Fred Buhendwa to assist him with a trip back to Africa. Several people gave contributions, and we put these funds aside for him. In October Fred received Australian citizenship, and the following week he made plans to return to Africa to take our training to the people of his country and to help his sister escape from a dangerous situation. With money in hand from those of you who contributed, Fred took that long journey during the month of November.

Fred returned on December 5th and reported that he was able to train 5 leaders in Kigali, Rwanda, using AIM Training. At this stage they have formed 26 new disciple training groups, and they are excited and optimistic about spreading the gospel message far and wide using these reproducible methods. Let me once again thank you who contributed to this project, for as you see, it has borne much fruit and will do so as the work multiplies.

Also, thank you to the 20-some people that participated in interviews for our media project over the past 2 weeks. Documenting the AIM journey in this way opened our eyes to many ways that the Lord has been at work through our networks. The videos should be completed by early February; please let me know if you are interested in seeing the final results.

Remember, Christmas is a great time to share the gospel message, so let’s be sure many people hear the good news over the next week!

Blessings to you all as you celebrate His incarnation!

Ben
