Lots of News

Greetings Kingdom workers! I haven’t written an update in a long time, so of course there is much to report. But I’ll keep it as short as possible this time and promise to send updates a bit more often.

First of all I am proud of our 4 new Strategy Partners who just completed their 8-day training intensive earlier this month. Please pray for Rod, Erik, and Andrew & Sabina as they embark on the calling which God has placed before them. I was very pleased that Jillian and Natalie (Strategy Partner Training, 2009) were available to help present material to the new group!

Congratulations to Fred (Strategy Partner Training, 2009) & Sakina who are the proud parents of a new boy, Joshua, born on Monday 9th May. Mother and child are healthy and happy. We pray he will be a great evangelist like his daddy!

As many of you know, Judy and I will be traveling to the US for our daughter’s wedding. Joy will marry Jonathan White on 11th June in Maryland, at our home church Northwest Baptist. We leave Tasmania on May 22nd and will return June 20th. We value your prayers as we travel.

For the past few weeks, I have been busy preparing a new presentation called “Strategic Overview.” This is a 3-hour interactive training session to introduce people to the “big picture” in New Testament mission, and to help them define the “critical path” to foster multiplication movements (CPM streams), and to provide practical tools for getting started. While I’m in the US I will present the Strategic Overview in at least 2 locations: one in Lynchburg, Virginia, and the other in Reisterstown, Maryland.

I’ve also been working on a brochure which outlines what we offer in terms of training and resources in Australia. This will be very useful to us as we seek to continue training people here in Tasmania, and as we embark on a new equipping venture in Sydney and Melbourne later this year. I hope to have these in your hands in a few weeks.

Since our return to Tasmania in September 2010, we have seen and heard many stories of faith, boldness, and fruitfulness. There is more stuff happening than you can imagine! I want to begin collecting and publishing some of these stories so more people in our networks can celebrate what God is doing (I’ll do this in a separate email). PLEASE write down some of the stories you hear each week and let’s share with others!

Every blessing to each of you. Keep up the work for the Kingdom!

Ben
