We’ve had a great week and I thought I’d send you an update of what has happened in recent days, and how you can be praying for us:
- We had a wonderful visit from Charley and C.J., who came to us from Maryland (USA). We went prayerwalking several times partnering with Aussie believers and had MANY opportunities to share the gospel. One young lady, Holly, gave her life to the Lord in the Eliz. Street bus mall.
- Josh M. and Nathan are part of a new Reboot group on Hobart’s Eastern Shore. Despite living about 45 minutes apart, these young men are committed to make it work!
- Josh & Jessie D. started a new Reboot group in Melbourne last night, making this the first AIM group in that city. Four of us (Fred, Jillian, Judy & I) will be going there from October 6-9 to work with Josh, going prayerwalking and to provide some training with them as well as a Congolese partner.
- John K. has cheerfully agreed to translate TFT into French, for use in East Africa and beyond. He joins Jean-Pierre who is presently translating Reboot into French. Pray for these men in the tedious job of translation.
- Leanne, a housewife in Huonville, is learning to take the lead as we equip her to train others. We are pleased with her courage in taking this step.
- We are building a new partnership with Brian, a Kingdom-minded man who wants to reach the Bridgewater/Gagebrook area by equipping and sending out workers to start churches.
- Pray for a new TFT group starting in Glenorchy in the coming week.
- David & Helen are passionate about reaching people, and they want to equip their 4 Bible study groups to multiply, mobilising others in the task.
- Warren is boldly sharing the good news with students at U.Tas. Pray that God will bring receptive people into his path!
Also, have a look at the http://aimtrainers.org website as I have made several changes. I will be adding quite a bit more content in the next week.
Thank you for praying for one another. God is doing some marvellous things among us!
